NSRA met with the representative of Oldendorff Carriers
MOSCOW. FSI "The Northern Sea Route Administration" met with a representative of Oldendorff Carriers company. At the meeting the sides discussed prospects of joint cooperation. The company plans to use the Northern sea route for transit passages in 2018. The representative of the company was informed about the work of the Maritime administration of Russia in part to changes in legislation in the field of merchant shipping.
The representative of the company Oldendorff Carriers underlined the competent and efficient work of the NSR Administration, as well as the high professionalism of its employees in terms of information and support for owners on all issues.

Oldendorf Carriers GMBH Co. & KG – a German shipping company with headquarters in Lübeck, Germany. The company was founded in 1921. It is one of the global leaders in the shipping business bulker segment. The company has 18 offices in different countries and around 4,000 employees. The company operates 600 ships.
In 2016, the company Oldendorff Carriers had a successful experience with the NSR Administration on cooperation in case of the transit passages of the two vessels on the Northern sea route (Gretke Oldendorff and Georg Oldendorff ) from Canada to Finland with a cargo of coal more than 70,000 tons each.
